Acquisition Analyst


quip is looking for an exceptionally thoughtful, detail-oriented, creative and fast executing marketing analyst to support our push for growth in a myriad of online channels. You will be a part of broader efforts to understand our customers, construct smart tests, and optimize our campaigns to drive sales and grow our subscriber base. Learning about new marketing technologies and companies and thinking about how different customers react with our products and services should sound exciting to you.

You'll be working in an open office environment, interacting primarily with other marketing leads and directly with the CEO and CFO, but as in most startup environments, you’re impressive skills might be called in for support elsewhere as well! There will be a constant demand to deepen and broaden your analytical approach, learning and applying strategic thinking to our efforts is encouraged.  This is a full time job and we hope it will be your primary career focus with your intent to grow with us.

Acquisition Marketing Analyst Duties:

  • Assist in day to day management and optimization across select digital channels through various web interfaces and tools
  • Tactical execution of acquisition strategies (ad set creation, targeting, bidding, budgeting)
  • Develop and maintain key performance metric reports that track efficacy of implemented strategies
  • Manage and aggregate channel level reporting to help build an integrated view of our acquisition landscape
  • Help inform recommendations for acquisition strategies as part of acquisition team (new channels, audiences, tactics, bidding strategies, targeting options)
  • Participate in digital marketing strategy sessions and identification of long term growth opportunities
  • Leverage data from multiple sources to evaluate LTV’s from various demographics and channels

This might describe you:

  • Hold a bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, IS, or related field
  • 1-3 years of analytical, strategic and/or digital marketing experience in a position such as management consulting, Data analysis, investment banking, business intelligence, finance or performance marketing
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting results and applying findings to a business setting
  • Experience in an e-commerce business and/or with digital marketing
  • Customer-centric mindset and the ability to understand quip’s target consumer
  • Robust analytical skills and a desire to use data in creative ways to drive and measure results
  • Strong project management, attention to detail, and a no-task-too-small mentality
