Business Development Associate, Dental

We’re looking for an eager business development associate interested in building expertise and relationships in the dental professional industry in order to grow quip’s awareness and revenue. You will be responsible for establishing and growing our community of dental professionals and trade associations through inbound and outbound pitching, attending trade shows, and networking with key stakeholders. You will work closely with the GM, Dental on overall execution and operations of the Dental business channel.

Typical responsibilities include:

  • Managing inbound requests and inquiries from dental professionals + verifying dental practices to join the quip Dentist Connect platform
  • Identifying leads and pitching dental professionals, groups and practices to join Dentist Connect
  • Attending trade events and panels to have a pulse on the industry and key players
  • Partner with the GM, Dental to on day-to-day tasks, project management, execution, and reporting
  • Huge growth opportunities in the role to take on more responsibility and ownership with demonstrated success

This might describe you:

  • Bachelor’s degree or more in business, marketing or related fields.  We are happy to make exceptions for well qualified experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in a B2B business development or operations role
  • Experience with dental or health industries a plus
  • Good sense of humor (we’re called quip after all ;) )
  • Brush teeth for two minutes, twice a day and smile often
  • Independent thinker and self starter with strong interpersonal skills

Our front facing product is a beautifully simple electric toothbrush and toothpaste set that are refreshed automatically on a 3-monthly schedule, but our product line will soon be growing. The future of quip will see an increasing focus on our digitial platform that will provide a link to professional dental services and partners to create an operation on a whole different scale to one of purely ecommerce. We're in DUMBO, Brooklyn home of many creative companies and more importantly, lots of pizza and a shake shack. We are closest to the High Street stop on the A/C line, York Street stop on the F, and the Clark Street stop on the 2/3
