We are looking for a Logistics Manager that can bring an energetic, accurate and careful hand to helping operate logistics, supply, and fulfillment internally at quip. You’ll be working directly with the COO and a director of operations to interact at every level of the company to ensure smooth daily operation of our fast-growing startup. As a hardware focused subscription company, smooth operation relies greatly on well managed supply logistics and order fulfillment to maximize output. Logistics and fulfillment effects every team at quip and each internal team has its own way of working and part of your role will be to help quantify problems, research solutions, implement strategy and work with people internally to help align everyone to the same goals and keep everyone up to date with the state of fulfillment. You should be a quantitatively focused person that is very comfortable with spreadsheets, dashboards, and cost/benefit analysis to prioritize every problem according to its impact to the bottom line. We’re a small but growing team at quip and maintain long workdays, so you should feel comfortable maintaining strong relationships even through difficult workloads and challenging hours. We source from and ship internationally, so the desire to be available and alert 24/7 should be seen as a given, not a burden.
While being based at quip HQ alongside all other teams, you will represent the communication and physical bridge to our fulfillment manager and team whether they are in house, local or remote.
